#i love you #dean can’t control it for a long time #sometimes he’ll smile at something cas says and they just cloud over involuntarily #and cas doesn’t mean to but more than just the first few times a silent gasp forms on his lips #it never fails to make dean self conscious #with reddening cheeks and an awkward cough he blinks a few times as hard as he can to make them go back to normal #it’s not until after they’ve become comfortable with each other #after they finally get their long suppressed feelings out that cas gets over the shock #accepts that for now this is dean #that this could very well be dean for the rest of their lives #and so he doesn’t mind these mornings #waking up to droopy black eyes blinking sleep away in the early morning light as he passes cas a lopsided smile # and instead he gives a smile back and a kiss #because that’s what dean needs #he needs to feel loved this way because he spent so long begging for hate that didn’t come #this is his dean no matter what #and no matter what it is his righteous man #and he’s never looked so much like the part then he does now (via: keepcalm-and-staysmiling)
